The Trauma of Grace

I hope you take the time to view my recent story on Dr. Tim Keller, pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. Over the last 19 years, Redeemer has grown from a handful of believers to more than five thousand people gathering each Sunday.

God has used Keller's understated, intellectual preaching style to reach the most unlikely group of people, Manhattan's cultural elites.

Keller's ability to address their doubts about Christianity prompted him to write the book, The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism. In it he writes about what he calls, "the trauma of grace.". I had never heard grace described that way, so I asked him to explain what he means by that. Take a look at what he had to say.
