Bring It On: Baptized as a Child, turned Atheist

A former boyfriend needs money, my husband say no, what should I do? Why are some people healed and others aren't, why is this? My son was baptized as a child. Now, years later, he's an atheist. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen. What gives?
