Bodie and Brock Thoene: New Christian Historical Fiction Series

Bodie and Brock Thoene, who once worked with John Wayne on movie scripts, are bestselling authors of more than 40 novels. The writing duo has sold more than 10 million copies of their books and has won eight ECPA (Evangelical Christian Publisher Association) Gold Medallion Awards, which is the highest honor for Christian fiction.

Brock, who has a Ph.D. in history, is meticulous at researching the historical novels he and Bodie write. Bodie adds her expertise in characterization and storylines to the mix, and together they create interesting stories with strong spiritual undercurrents.

The 'A.D. Chronicles' Series

The Thoenes latest book series is called the A.D. Chronicles and is set in the time of Christ. Their first book in this series, First Light, highlights the blind man who was healed by Jesus. Their latest book in the series, Second Touch, tells the story of some lepers who hear of a Rabbi purported to be the Messiah and set out to find Him.

Family Life

Bodie and Brock have four grown children and live part of the year in London and the remainder of the year in California and Nevada.
