Winner or Loser: You Choose

CBN.com I had a lot of fun with creative experiments while getting my graduate degrees in Psychology. Students are known for devising interesting experiments to test various human theories. A number of years ago, some students decided to use one of their friends as a guinea pig, to see if false suggestions could cause reactions in the body.

On the chosen day, the guinea pig left the dorm, suspecting nothing unusual. However, a friend greeted him with, Good Morning, Chuck! How are you doing today? You look a little pale. Seconds later another friend rounded the corner with Chuck, are you feeling okay? You look a little sick! A third friend greeted Chuck and said, You really shouldnt be out of bed! You look horrible! Before the young man could get to his first class, he turned around, went back to the dormitory and fell into bed. He was, in fact, sick.

Has anyone been feeding you false information lately? Maybe the newspapers are in on a big joke telling you no one is hiring. Your friends have been misinformed you really are competent and capable. Your boss is a bozo, not you. Maybe your spouse or your parents havent been very encouraging.

What would happen if rather than listening to the feedback, you decided to see and create your own future? Isnt there just as much likelihood that you could create a good, clean, positive future? Are there really limitations in front of you or are those obstacle just between your own two ears?

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. —Proverbs 23:7

Think you can or think you cant; either way youre right. —Henry Ford

Joanne's JaguarHow would you like to take over ownership of Joannes personal car the official 48 Days Jaguar? This has been Joannes pride and joy, and perhaps the most immaculate car weve ever owned.

Here are the details: $11,775 (Kelly Blue Book shows $14,375)

  • Spindrift White over Cashmere Beige Leather
  • Premium Audio System with 6 CD Changer
  • 16 Starburst Rims

Last month, on September 13 I had new brakes, rotors, and a set of Michelins installed ($2172.79). The XJ8 is the car that has made Jaguar legendary. This car offers a combination of performance, luxury, safety, quality, and style that is completely unique in the automotive world. This particular one is the very best color, has all the right options and equipment, and is absolutely flawless with not even a door ding. The leather is excellent, the tires are brand new, and at 87,770 miles it is ready for years of service. Everything works. There are no problems, unresolved issues, warning lights, etc. I can send photos if youd like.

How about a special bonus?. Well add a complete boxed set of 48 Days products, including the famous 48 Peppermint candies. In addition, youll receive the very first signed copy of my new book, No More Mondays, as soon as they arrive. And, pick the car up on a Friday and Joanne and I will take you as our guests to our favorite Friday night restaurant (a secret country destination great food and live music).

E-mail me directly (dan@48Days.com) if youd like to be the next driver. With Joannes last car a beautiful red Volvo 850 Turbo I had people upset because I promised it before they knew it was available. Oh, I will be keeping the 48 Days license plate. That will go on Joanne's new ride.
