Impeachment Inquiry Talk Fuels Democrats Campaign Fundraising

The recent talk about impeachment has fueled the campaign fundraising drive.  Some of the Democrats 2020 candidates released their third-quarter numbers on Tuesday.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) tops the list pulling in $25.3 million from about 1.4 million donors. The Vermont senator says he's now collected $61.5 million from 3.3 million individual donors since launching his White House bid in February, making his average contribution $19.

Indianapolis Mayor Pete Buttigieg raised $19.1 million, which is about $5 million less than what he raised in the second quarter.

California Sen. Kamala Harris has raised $11.6 million in the past three months, a sum that leaves her trailing several rivals in the Democratic presidential primary's money race.

Sen. Cory Booker raised more than $6 million over the last three months, with a third of that coming in the past 10 days after he warned he would have to drop out of the Democratic presidential race if he didn't take in more cash by Monday's fundraising deadline.

Republicans reportedly have raised $15 million in the wake of the Democrats' impeachment inquiry.  The Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign have raised $210 million since the beginning of the year.

Gabby Orr, White House reporter at Politico and CBN Chief Political Analyst David Brody appeared on Tuesday's edition of CBN News' Faith Nation to discuss the Democrats fundraising efforts. Faith Nation can be seen weeknights on the CBN News Channel.
