Evangelist Billy Graham is celebrating his 98th birthday Monday, but the family isn't hosting a big party this year.

Franklin Graham told The Charlotte Observer, "It's a party every Sunday when I go see him because he's made it through another week."

More than 800 people, including Donald Trump, helped Billy Graham celebrate his 95th birthday three years ago.

But the younger Graham said that will not be the case this year.

"At 98, you count the days and weeks. I don't think we'll have any more big parties. Those days are over with," he said.

Even so, many are still sending Billy Graham well wishes, including Congressman Robert Pittenger, R-N.C.

“The world celebrates Dr. Graham’s 98th birthday because of a decision he made 82 years ago last Tuesday," he wrote. "On November 1, 1934, Dr. Graham accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and committed to telling others about Jesus.  God used that decision to impact millions of lives.

“Billy Graham is not a great man because he’s famous or because of his impressive statistics and close friendships with many American Presidents.  Billy Graham is a great man because he faithfully carried out the mission assigned to him by God.  Happy Birthday, Dr. Graham!” Pittenger said.
