Christian Singer Critically Inured After ATV Accident

Dallas Taylor, lead singer of Christian heavy metal band, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster suffered a serious brain injury in an ATV accident in Ocala, Florida, on Tuesday.

According to Taylor's band's Facebook page  the accident happened while Taylor was visiting his family in Ocala.

 The ABC affiliate in Gainsville, ABC 20 reports that Florida Highway Patrol and paramedics arrived to to find a four wheeler on top of Dallas, who was riding on the property of West Marion Baptist Church. His mother, Dottie Taylor, told ABC 20 a mystery woman riding her bike found him and called the police.

"We've never seen her before and I don't know who she was. I would like to thank her for saving his life," she told the news station.

Doctors said Dallas is suffering from a severe brain injury and trauma to the carotid artery, but told ABC 20 there is still hope for him. "We are encouraged right now that neurologically he's woken up for us and he's following commands," one of his doctors said during a press conference.
