Pacquiao Looking Tired but 'Hasn't Lost a Step' Ahead of Big Match
Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao is fighting fatigue as he powers through training for his upcoming WBO world welterweight title match in November.
Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach told GMA News Online he believes Pacquiao is getting tired out from all his non-boxing activities, which includes his service as a senator in the Philippines.
"We had a good week, overall it was a productive week. He's a little bit tired, he has two jobs, but we got through 10 rounds (of sparring). He looked good in the first six," Roach tells GMA News Online.
But Roach also says his star client has a lot of fight left in him, even at 37 years old.
"He hasn't lost a step. He's still the same Manny Pacquiao I've always known and he's still a great fighter," Roach says in a new promotional video.
"Pac-man" is wrapping up his training in Manila and flies to Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Roach says that will give Pacquiao plenty of time to get back to full strength and fully prepared for his welterweight title match against Jessie Vargas.
The big fight takes place in Las Vegas on Nov. 5. Vargas currently holds the welterweight title.
CBN News has reported before that Pacquiao is fueled by a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Last month he tweeted, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you."
