One clinic in Sumter, Georgia, is not only physically healing their patients, they are offering spiritual healing as well.

Sumter Faith Clinic is a volunteer medical ministry that serves the uninsured and the underserved residents.

Mary Gordon, 63, frequents the clinic to pray with the clinic's prayer partners.

"I know that I'm going to get some prayer because I'm a praying person myself," said Gordon.

Two days a week the clinic offers free health and spiritual services to uninsured patients, like Gordon.

"The doctor's office they don't even offer it, but they have the Bible out when you come here, it's no time that I come here that they don't ask me, do I need prayer," said Gordon.

She said that the clinic helped her "breakthrough" when she lost her job.

"I see these people coming in with no jobs, no income, and their very sick. And I've been blessed with good health so that's what motivates me to come down here," said physician Linda Bartlett.

With the help of the 45 volunteers, the clinic is able to provide efficient care by doctors like Linda.

"And I pray to God you know they will stay open, if I get financially stable I'd come up here and give them a big donation but at the time I don't have it now," said Gordon.

The Sumter Faith Clinic is open on Mondays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m
