After watching a video about pro-choice and abortion, 24-year-old Justin Smith felt compelled to share his personal story of memories from inside the womb in a video on his Facebook page.

In the video, Smith, a worship leader at Liberty University's Thomas Road Baptist Church, explained what happened when his mom posed a question to him and his sister about their earliest memory.

"I was, like, I don't think you're going to believe me," Smith said.

After his mom insisted, he went on to say, "I think I remember when I was inside you."

"I remember being in like this opaque, blue-ish light and I see my arms out in front of me, like silhouetted in front of me and so I'm in this kind of like blue kind of, I didn't use this, ethereal, but I'll use it now sort of feeling I'm sort of like floating, right," he described.

"There's this big bright light in front of me and see my arms and I hear voices of people, talking, kind of mumbled though...and that's the whole thing that's all I remember. But it's very distinct I still remember it. I still remember it now. I'm 24," he said.

He said his mother was kind of "freaked out about it."

Smith also said his Mom told him that when she was 20 weeks pregnant with him, doctors told her she had a tumor the size of a grapefruit on her ovary and that it was crowding and threatening the baby.

She underwent emergency surgery to remove the tumor and Smith recalled that experience as well.

"They opened her up, took me and the uterus, while I was still in the uterus, pulled me out and set me on top of her stomach under this operating light for the duration of the surgery and they couldn't put her under for it because that would have endangered me. And so she's lying awake," he said. "There's a curtain at her waist and she's looking straight up at his huge surgery light and there's doctors and nurses all around talking, 'scalpel, sutures, whatever,' and she realizes that she had never told me that story."

"I had no idea that had ever happened," he said.

Smith said he doesn't know who will be impacted by his story and people are responding.

,"Thanks for sharing!! This is a powerful story and I believe God will use it to touch people's hearts...everything we go through happens for a reason," Lesslie Moposita said.

"I've been an ER nurse 30 years," Barb Degen said. "I have never heard anything like this ever. And I totally believe that that was your first memory."

Smith's video has been viewed by thousands online.
