Pass the Eggs: A U-Turn on Cholesterol Warnings

You can eat your eggs after all. The government is going to drop cholesterol from its list of "nutrients of concern," the London Mail reports.

As CBN News has reported, many experts don't believe there's a relationship between high cholesterol in foods and harmful levels in the blood.

Consequently, the Department of Agriculture's Dietary Guideline Advisory Committee will revise its recommendations and no longer warn people to avoid eggs and other foods laden with cholesterol.

That revision will change decades of cholesterol warnings.
