JERUSALEM, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is mulling some potentially controversial decisions, including deportation of terrorists' families and banning loudspeakers from mosques.

Netanyahu recently asked Attorney General Avichai Mandleblitt to look into the legality of deporting families of terrorists to the Gaza Strip, a concept that's been talked about in the past.

"I believe the use of this tool will result in a significant reduction in terror attacks against Israel, its citizens and residents," Netanyahu told the attorney general in a letter.

Another potential source of controversy is a bill curbing the use of loudspeakers from mosques. The bill's sponsor hopes the Ministerial Committee will allow it to move forward through the parliamentary process.

Meanwhile, Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman called Netanyahu's handling of terror attacks "catastrophic" and blamed him for failing to stop the wave of terror. He also criticized the government's decisions to transfer back tax revenues to the P.A. and to turn over terrorists' bodies to their families.

Lieberman said Israel is the primary source of funding for Palestinian terrorism.
