Jim Bob Duggar says a push to have his family's television show taken off the air won't succeed and the controversy has only made them stronger.

An online petition calling on TLC to cancel "19 Kids and Counting" garnered 180,000 signatures.

But more than 200,000 people have signed a counter petition in support of the Duggars.

The Washington Post reports the peition to remove the show began after Michelle Duggar campaigned against an LGBT anti-discrimination ordinance in Arkansas.

In a recent speech, Jim Bob Duggar said, "We love everybody. It's a small group creating this fuss. All it has done is give us more exposure."

CBN News reached out to TLC about the possibility of the show's cancellation. They declined to comment.
