Hero in Seattle Shooting Showered with Wedding Gifts

There's been an outpouring of love and support for the victims and hero of the shooting that left one dead and two injured at a Christian university in Seattle last week.

The community is coming together to honor Jon Meis, the 22-year-old student who pepper-sprayed and tackled the gunman who went on a rampage at Seattle Pacific University Thursday.

After the shooting, a Twitter user shared a link to Meis' wedding registry. Now strangers from all over are buying him and his fiance wedding presents. Meis is getting married June 21.

Supporters are also contributing to the honeymoon and donating to cover the medical and funeral costs for the victims.

In all, donors have contributed about $60,000.
