Charisma Magazine Celebrates 40 Years
Charisma magazine is celebrating its 40th anniversary, and Steve Strang, the magazine's founder and publisher, is marking the occasion by highlighting his favorite Bible verse, .
The verse says: "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all we can ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us."
Strang writes that this has been true again and again during the magazine's 40-year odyssey.
He said God has done exceedingly abundantly more than he could have dreamed as a young newspaper journalist in 1975, who wanted to do something significant for God.
He said that he had an opportunity to start a small magazine for his church Calvary Assembly in Orlando, Florida, calling it a door God opened, and he walked through.
Strang gave God the glory for anything that's been accomplished.
