President Obama Says He's Praying for Suffering Christians

President Barack Obama showed his support for Iraqi Christians and other persecuted believers.

During Christmas week he told America that he and his wife Michelle are praying for suffering Christians.

In a statement released by the White House, the president said he and Michelle, "Hold especially close to our hearts and minds those who have been driven from their ancient homelands by unspeakable violence and persecution."

Obama has been criticized by Republicans in Congress and on the presidential campaign trail for being too soft on terror groups like ISIS.
