The newest Disney Pixar animated film, "Inside Out," hits theaters this weekend and is a homerun for family friendliness.

The voices of Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Mindy Kaling as Disgust, and Bill Hader as Fear, bring to life the imagination of an 11-year-old girl named Riley.

"Inside Out" seeks to teach kids that it's okay to feel emotions even if they don't make us happy.

"What a brave message that is -- that our goal isn't to be happy all the time. We're supposed to be… us. We're supposed to experience life in its wholeness, even in its sadness," movie reviewer Paul Asay wrote.

"Love this film! It has now become my second favorite Pixar film," Plugged In Online Director Bob Waliszewski said.

Waliszewski also shares his insights on "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl," another film opening this weekend. Click play to watch his review.
