Rev. Franklin Graham says his father, evangelist Billy Graham, greatly missed his late wife on Valentine's Day but looks forward to seeing her again in heaven soon.

Graham posted on Facebook that he spent the day with his elderly father. He said the evangelist still misses his late wife, Ruth Bell Graham, nearly nine years after her death.

"One things for sure, at 97 years old and almost nine years after her death, my father still misses my mother-his Valentine-more than words can say," Graham wrote.

But Graham added that his father is confident he will soon see again the woman he called his wife for 64 years.

"The good news is, he confidently looks forward to seeing my mother again in heaven soon one day," he said.

"That confidence of eternity in heaven is something we all can have if we have surrendered out lives to Jesus Christ and received Him by faith as our Savior and Lord," Graham added.

"The Word of God tells us, 'But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself' ( )," he concluded.
