Although Demetria Stallings grew up a pastor's kid and began singing at the age of 4, she is usually working behind-the-scenes as a producer with The 700 Club and 700 Club Interactive.

But now her album, "Letters of the Heart," has officially released.

The album's single, "Guide Me," has a unique origin story, taking two years to write, with the country of Iceland playing a special role.

"I feel like this song brings a person to the foot of Jesus and says, 'I don't know, I don't know what's ahead of me. But you're (God) my guiding star,'" Stallings said. "Sometimes we feel like direction has to be precise - but sometimes the direction is in surrender."

"No other song touched me like this one. So I was like, this has to be the single because it puts you in another place of rest and, again, surrendering," she added.

CBN News Reporter Efrem Graham spoke with stallings just as she was preparing to release her first single from the project. Click play to watch the interview.
