A Virginia family delivered a baby boy Saturday after a midwife was unable to travel to assist with the chiildbirth.

ABC News reports that the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, located in Stafford, Virginia, received a call that an expectant mother was in labor.

The family was using a midwife to deliver their baby, but due to the blizzad, the midwife was unable to reach the family.

Stafford County Fire and Rescue was dispatched at 1:44 p.m. to the residence while another dispatcher stayed on the phone with the dad to talk him through the delivery, which progressed quickly. The father delivered his son at 1:46 p.m.

The sherriff's office reports that the mother, baby, and father are all doing well.
