The Macy's department store chain announced it is no longer giving money to Planned Parenthood.

A pro-life group that tracks corporate donations to Planned Parenthood says Macy's is now off their list.

"In the spirit of thankfulness and celebration that comes this time of year, we have a special update to share with you," Lance Wray of the pro-life group 2nd Vote wrote to LifeNews.com.

"You may remember how four companies [AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Xerox] publicly distanced themselves from Planned Parenthood last year after our research exposed 41 companies with direct financial ties to the abortion giant," he said.

"Well, we are happy to report that we can take another company off that Macy's, who confirmed with 2nd Vote last week that they no longer give nor match donations to Planned Parenthood," he said.

Wray thanked 2nd Vote members who reached out to Macy's on their decision not to sponsor the nation's largest abortion provider.

Macy's decision comes in the wake of undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood executives talking about the sale of baby body parts. The organization is facing federal and state investigations and could lose taxpayer funding.

Over 25 percent of Planned Parenthood's annual revenue comes from private donations, including corporate contributions, according to 2nd Vote.
