While the victims of the latest Islamist-related terror attack in the U.S. are recovering near the Ohio State University campus, there are new reports of Muslims being targeted in other parts of the nation.

In Seattle, a Muslim student reports she was struck in the face with a glass bottle while wearing a burqa two weeks ago.

Across the country, from Georgia to California, a hate-filled letter was sent to several mosques. It praised President-elect Donald Trump and threatened Muslims, claiming he would do to them what Hitler did to Jews.

One of those letters was sent to the LA branch of CAIR. It has been investigated for its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, a group known for U.S. terrorist activity.

The letter read in part, "There's a new sheriff in town - President Donald Trump. He's going to cleanse America and make it shine again. And he's going to start with you Muslims."

Trump has never threatened Muslims.

Attacks against Muslims seem to be on the rise over the past two years. According to the FBI, anti-Muslim incidents increased by 67 percent in 2015.

But critics note that Islamist attacks against Americans in places such as Orlando, San Bernardino and Columbus have also increased.  And they question why as recently as two years ago, FBI didn't include radical Islamists on its list of the greatest domestic terror threats.

Pastors from the communities are speaking out against the letters and the bottle attack.
