Never Judge a Book by Its Cover: Woman Learns from Homeless Man

A homeless man recently taught a lesson to a woman who found herself in a predicament, and it's a lesson that's worth more than money.

Renee William's Facebook post ended up spreading quickly after she posted a picture of her and a homeless man at a Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins football game.

Before she could enter the game she was stopped for bringing a purse that was too big to take into the stadium.

Since the walk was too far for her to take her purse back where they parked, she decided to take a nearby couple's advice to entrust her bag to a homeless man sitting there.

"I was reluctant at first, but then I figured I was going to throw it away anyway just to get in so, why not? I walked over; my friend handed him a $5 bill and asked him if he'd kindly watch it until the game let out. He agreed. Not knowing whether or not he or it would be there when we got out, I put my faith in him. Sure enough, got out of the game, found him, and there he was, with my purse," Williams said.

In her Facebook post Williams says she learned people should not be judged from what their situation looks like from the outside.

"I guess what I am trying to say is, not all people can be judged just from seeing a certain situation they may be in or what they may look like," she said.

"I thank him. It's not the purse I care about. It's the principle of someone still knowing and understanding the worth of keeping your word. God Bless you, sir. I hope you can prosper into whatever you're looking for," Williams added in her post.

She is asking people to share her picture and story on Facebook.
