Pro-life groups across the nation will protest the 100th year anniversary of Planned Parenthood by confronting the abortion giant with prayer on Saturday.

The Pro-Life Action League and Created Equal and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society have coordinated #ProtestPP prayer events at 120 Planned Parenthood locations.

Eric Scheidler, Executive Director of the Pro-Life Action League, explained that participants want to see abortion brought to an end in the United States.

"This month Planned Parenthood turns 100. That's 100 years of preying on our families, polluting our culture, and, since 1970, killing our children by the millions," he said.

"As they hold big fundraisers to celebrate this shameful milestone, those who value human life will unite to pray for an end to this organization that has done so much to destroy American families," Scheidler said.

Legislative efforts and investigations in states, along with protests and prayer campaigns, have led to the closures of dozens of Planned Parenthood offices, including the recent closing of offices in Augusta, Georgia, and Pueblo, Colorado.

Students for Life for America, one of the nation's largest youth pro-life organizations, is joining the fight against Planned Parenthood with their "100 years of Abuse" campaign.

In it, millennials compiled a list of acts committed by Planned Parenthood that they believe should be condemned rather than celebrated.

"Planned Parenthood is the primary vendor of abortions in the U.S. #100yearsofabuse," said a statement on their site.

Studentsforlife.org listed Medicaid fraud, taxpayer overbilling, support for sex-selection abortion, and the sale of baby body parts as some of the abuses Planned Parenthood has committed.

The Susan B. Anthony List, a pro-life women's group that works to pass life-saving legislation, took to Twitter to tell women that abortion is not their only option.

Live Action President Lila Rose told CBN News in 2015 that she wants to see every Planned Parenthood clinic closed down in America.

"We want to protest their atrocious activities and crimes against humanity  and the killing of over 320,000 children every year and the selling of the body parts of the babies that they abort," she said.
