British Prime Minister David Cameron met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at the U.N. Wednesday. It's the first meeting between a U.K. prime minister and an Iranian leader since the Islamic Revolution 35 years ago.

It's believed the two discussed the international coalition to fight ISIS.

According to Yahoo News, a Downing Street spokesman said Cameron and Rouhani agreed that "all states in the region must do more to cut off support for all terrorist groups, including financial support."

Some are advocating that the West work with Iran to defeat ISIS, even though the Islamic Republic is still pursuing its nuclear weapons program and threatening Israel.
