ISIS jihadists have kidnapped more Christians in Syria, bringing the estimated number of hostages to at least 220, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

One official with the British-based human rights group said ISIS has gained control of 10 Christian villages and have taken the hostages to territory they control.

Meanwhile, the Assyrian Democratic Organization says ISIS raided 33 Assyrian villages, picking up as many as 300 people along the way.

A Syrian Christian group says hundreds of Christians have fled to the two main cities in Hasaka province.

Officials can't confirm the exact number of hostages, but both humanitarian organizations confirmed reports that ISIS has been abducting Syrian Christians from a chain of villages over the past three days.

ISIS released a video last week showing the beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts in Libya.

CBN Chief International Correspondent Gary Lane spoke with Tom Doyle, vice-president of E3 Partners Ministry and author of the new book, Killing Christians: Living the Faith Where It's Not Safe to Believe.
