ISIS is now in the business of creating fake passports, according to a new warning from the French interior minister.
French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said the Islamic State has seized so many passports in Iraq, Syria and Libya that they have been able to develop "a true industry of fake passports," the Wall Street Journal reports.
He wants to set up a special task force in Greece to pinpoint fake or stolen passports as migrants arrive from the Middle East.
Meanwhile, ABC News reports U.S. Homeland Security is warning that Islamic State terrorists may have already used fake passports to enter the United States.
Officials believe ISIS can produce the phony passports using blank passports and a passport machine captured from the government of Syria.
At least two of the ISIS terrorists who attacked Paris last year used Syrian passports to enter Europe through Greece, pretending to be refugees.
