Death Toll Climbs to 40 in California's Deadliest Wildfire Outbreak Ever

In all, 17 large fires raged across the northern part of the state, with more than 10,000 firefighters attacking the flames using air tankers, helicopters and more than 1,000 fire engines. But the death toll keeps rising.
