Director of Marketing - CBN Animation

Development – Remote (U.S. based) 

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a talented professional to plan, develop, and implement marketing and fundraising strategies for CBN Animation. This position will oversee branding for the portfolio of CBN Animation programs and digital platforms including Superbook, GizmoGo!, Superbook Bible App, and the CBN Animation Club.  In collaboration with internal stakeholders, this individual will establish innovative strategies to grow audiences and build robust multi-channel, data-driven marketing and fundraising initiatives.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in marketing campaign development and implementation
  • 5-10 years of marketing and/or fundraising experience in a nonprofit industry
  • Preferred background in Christian media, publications, and resources for children
  • Strong experience implementing strategies using inbound and outbound marketing channels (Direct Mail, Phone, Email, Social, App)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital and social media, CRM database software, marketing automation, and data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical skills across various marketing channels and platforms with the ability to analyze, monitor, evaluate, and optimize strategic marketing plans
  • Proficient knowledge of digital media and marketing software and analytics with the ability to learn emerging technology
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to cast vision and articulate the mission, goals, and values of the brand and larger organization
  • Proven ability to build consensus, work effectively across departments and interact with external publics in a positive and professional manner
  • Strong project management skills with ability to work well under pressure, spearhead multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Flexible with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a larger team
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
