Events Manager

Major Donors – Virginia Beach, VA                

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), is seeking a highly efficient Events Manager to support the CBN Major Donor department in delivering on strategic fundraising initiatives.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 3 years experience and a proven track record in planning and coordinating large, multi-faceted events and conferences
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective rapport with CBN staff and outside public
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media, and database and registration software
• Strong time-management skills with ability to prioritize and remain flexible
• Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work extended hours and weekend events as needed
• Ability to travel occasionally
