Floor Technician - $16.00/hour

Housekeeping – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Floor Technician who will clean floors and perform other tasks associated with maintaining the CBN buildings.

This position is full-time, second shift Monday through Friday 4:30 pm to 1:00 am.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Working knowledge of floor and carpet care
• Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures and techniques
• Ability to use mechanical floor care equipment safely and properly
• Ability to use chemicals safely and properly
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to be discreet around guests and employees while maintaining an appropriate work pace
• Ability to be flexible in changing assignments
• Ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to climb, bend, squat, kneel, push/pull, and move or lift items 50 pounds or more.  Hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
