HRIS Records Specialist

Human Resources – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an HRIS Records Specialist to provide HR data and records support with an emphasis on developing HRIS capabilities.  This onsite position will process HRIS employment and other data changes, maintain personnel files, and create statistical reports using the HRIS system and reporting tool. 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Human Resource experience providing HRIS data records and reporting support
  • Strong working knowledge of human resource practices and records protocols
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, HRIS database software with ability to learn new technology
  • Maintain personnel files and generate reports as well as assisting in the daily operations of the HR Records department
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and follow-through
  • Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail; consistently proofing work for accuracy
  • Critical thinker with ability to analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and seek sound solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and be an effective member of a small team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport with all levels of management, staff and outside public
  • Discreet with ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Flexible with ability to work well under pressure, frequent change, and consistently meet deadlines
