Lead Social Media Marketing Manager

Development Integration – Remote (U.S. based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is looking for a Lead Social Media Marketing Manager who will help take CBN’s brands and channels to the next level. The right person will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to translate concepts into compelling social media campaigns. We need someone who is data-driven and understands how to track and deliver results based on the goals for a campaign.

This role will oversee CBN’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest while making sure that we are staying relevant on emerging channels. He or she will coordinate with Social Media Managers on all brands within the broader CBN organization.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Strong experience in marketing and digital media marketing strategy and analytics
  • Strategic ability to effectively implement creative marketing campaigns
  • Advanced knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Demonstrated experience creating and identifying quality social media content related to multi-channel marketing
  • Strong supervisory skills with ability to train and motivate a small team
  • Strong English, editorial, and creative writing skills to include knowledge of Associate Press-style writing
  • Excellent research, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Knowledge of emerging media trends
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced production environment
  • Flexible with ability to work well under pressure with consistently meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a creative team
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective rapport with all levels of CBN staff and outside public
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends, as needed.
