Corporate Procurement – Remote (U.S. based)

Operation Blessing (OB), an international humanitarian relief and development organization, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to acquire donated resources from corporations and other sources in support of OB programs.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain management and procurement
  • Proven knowledge, understanding, and experience in large scale purchasing and managing corporate accounts
  • Strong ability to create and implement successful purchasing strategies that benefit Operation Blessing and its programs
  • Critical thinker with ability to evaluate and report on program effectiveness
  • Strong ability to negotiate and strategize to find cost-effective deals and suppliers
  • Proficient ability to consistently conduct and present in virtual meetings
  • Strong understanding of sales trends, how to analyze quantitative data and communicate activity  
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in the entire Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM system
  • Excellent oral, written communication, interpersonal, and corporate-level presentation skills
  • Proven ability to service existing accounts and establish new connections
  • Strong planning, time management, and organization skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with ability to take initiative, work independently and be an effective member of a team
  • Flexible with ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet on-going deadlines efficiently
  • Ability to travel when necessary
