Ronda Biffert is a personal trainer, artist, musician, and screenplay writer in Nashville, Tennessee. So when a cyst developed on her left wrist that inhibited her range of motion, this caused a serious problem in her day to day activities and her way of life.

"I first noticed something starting to form on my wrist in late 2003. I went to my doctor and she said that it was a ganglion cyst and I had never heard of one until then. She didn’t say anything about how to get rid of it. so I just started to live with it. In 2005, it changed. It was quite large, bigger than the bone on my wrist and it became hard and started to become painful in my wrist and in my forearm."

Ronda adds, "The pain was more like an annoyance. It wasn’t something like, 'Oh, I'm in pain, I need to run to the doctor,' but it was like just something that was frustrating to deal with. I love to lift weights, and it was bothering my range of motion in my left wrist. On top of that, it wasn’t too attractive. I would just hide it with my other hand usually."

"One day, I received Pat’s book, Miracles in the mail because I'm a member of The 700 Club and I started reading all of the stories. They just taught me how you can command things, that we have authority in Jesus’ name," she says.

"He [Pat Robertson] also taught about how Christ, when He prayed for people, never asked if it was God’s will. He just asked with a command --'Peace be still,' or, 'Get up and walk.' It was about two weeks later and I was sitting on my couch watching TV one night, and I was having pain in my wrist and I put the television on mute during the commercial. I simply looked at my wrist and I said, 'By the authority given to me in Christ, I command you, get out of my body,' and then I put the TV back off mute and my show was back on. It was about five days later and I looked down at my wrist and it was half the size. I got a little excited and I thought, 'Wow, something is going on here. This is good, this is good,' so I spoke to it again. Two weeks later it was completely gone and there was absolutely no sign of it, and it’s never been back."

"I don’t have to worry about pain in my arm and hiding my cyst or just being frustrated because I don’t have my range of motion there. And I don’t have to worry about being in the gym and having problems. I feel like I have more power... power that I never knew about before. You know, power to take a hold of those promises that I have in Christ," says Ronda.
