Service Desk Analyst III

Enterprise Services – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Service Desk Analyst III to join our IT team.  This professional will provide on-site and telephone technical support for resolving wide-variety of client issues ranging from software installation and configuration to complex hardware problem resolution.  This role will also facilitate Active Directory administrative tasks, integration needs, and business requirements.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the technical field with preferable experience working as an Active Directory services administrator
  • Advanced front-line support and troubleshooting skills including but not limited to the knowledge of system navigation, Active Directory account admin, network configuration, remote tools, and file system architecture
  • Strong experience with MS Windows 10 Operating System and MS Office 365
  • Microsoft Azure AD / Exchange experience with understanding of how it corresponds with networking, cloud solutions, and Office 365
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and enforcing the standard procedures for Active Directory access and related systems
  • Experience with PowerShell to develop automation solutions
  • Knowledge of Single Sign-on technologies
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Group Policy Objects (GPO) management and troubleshooting
  • Ticket and queue management experience with strong documentation skills and managing of work through service request software
  • Excellent listener with strong writing and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical issues into understandable terminology for end users and other technical support personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of management, staff and outside public
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management with ability to prioritize and multi-task with consistent follow-through
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team

  • Flexible with ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and consistently meet deadlines
  • Desired certifications: MCP, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Network+, Security +, and ITIL Foundations certification
