War in Ukraine Sparks Fears of Global Wheat Shortage
The war in Ukraine means much of Ukraine's winter wheat crop will never be harvested, and wheat stored in silos near Odesa can't make it to market becasue of Russia's blockade of ports on the Black Sea. That means countries that rely on Ukrainian wheat are already experiencing shortages.
