“They had democracy, they had a representative government, they had religious freedom and I’m watching to see if that will be preserved in any measure,” Mideast Bureau Chief Chris Mitchel says on today's CBN News Daily Rundown.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who reside along the border with Turkey, in northeast Syria, have been self-governing since the Arab Spring. Now, facing Turkey's invading troops and what they consider certain genocide, they've made a new ally; but are they sacrificing their freedom for survival?
