Democrats Celebrate in Virginia - Do Their Gains Spell Doom for Trump?
Democrats are celebrating their clean sweep in Virginia's election Tuesday.
For the first time in more than a decade, Democrats have won control of both chambers in Virginia's statehouse.
Virginia's elections, along with both legislative and gubernatorial races in other states were watched closely by President Trump and the vast field of Democrats working to unseat him to see what they may predict for the presidential race next year.
CBN News Chief International Correspondent and longtime political observer Gary Lane joins us on the CBN News Daily Rundown to break down what this new legislative configuration means in Virginia and offer his read of the tea leaves for 2020.
"If you just look at the numbers on the electoral college, right now it looks like [Trump's] gonna do better than he did last time," Lane says.
