Wednesday Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be in Washington to meet with President Trump at the White House.

The meeting comes one month after Erdogan launched "Operation Peace Spring," his military offensive into northern Syria.

Now, 300,000 plus people are on the run, including Christians from ancient villages in the region.

"This is a humanitarian disaster," says CBN News Senior International Correspondent George Thomas.

He's just returned from Syria and thinks the situation there will only get worse.

"If you thought the last month was bad, strap in," he says.
