A new wave of locusts is threatening Africa. The continent already experienced its biggest locust outbreak in 70-years weeks before the coronavirus hit. Now, a second wave is on its way, with some locusts reportedly 20 times the size of the first, posing a huge threat to plants and crops and to many Africans, considered far more destructive than COVID-19.
