From the Vault: Transgender Athletes

While high school sports are canceled for the remainder of the season, a case involving high school athletes is still moving forward. Alliance Defending Freedom represents three female track athletes in Connecticut who are challenging a state policy allowing students to compete based on their gender identity. Attorneys recently requested that the judge presiding on the case recuse himself after he forbid the transgender athletes from being referred to as "males." Connecticut is one of 17 states that allow students to compete in a division of their choosing without restriction.
