In January alone, 90,000 Americans lost their lives to COVID-19. Stopping the spread of the deadly virus means getting people vaccinated. The CDC says it's shipped 50 million doses, but only 31 million shots have been given. Long lines, sign-up errors, and low supplies are all contributing to the problem, but a third option could be available soon. Johnson & Johnson is expected to apply for emergency use authorization for its vaccine within days.
