Gordon Robertson, CEO

Gordon Robertson became a member of CBN’s board of directors in 2002 and the assistant chairman in 2007. He is CBN’s chief executive officer, as well as executive producer and co-host of The 700 Club.  He joined CBN in 1994 as founder and president of CBN Asia, Inc.

Gordon is the son of Pat and Dede Robertson.  He grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia, and witnessed how God expanded CBN’s ministry. He graduated from Yale in 1980, earned his Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University, and practiced law for 10 years in Norfolk, Virginia.

During a missionary trip to India, God opened Gordon’s heart to the plight of millions of unreached souls. He left his law firm and moved his family to the Philippines where he created a weekly TV show in Manila, The 700 Club Asia. He also founded the Asian Center for Missions and developed Asian CBN WorldReach centers and indigenous programming for India, Indonesia, Taiwan, and other regions before returning to the United States in 1999.
