The Investment Sure to Perform

Albert Kim loves serving people through his career as an interventional cardiologist.

“I give a lot of myself to other people," he says.  "And it's just my personality.  And I think that's also what led to also my profession.”

In 2004, he and his wife Sarah felt God leading him to open his own solo practice. The venture required expensive equipment, so for the first six months, Albert didn’t collect a salary.

“I took money out of savings, took out some loans through some banks,” Albert remembers.

Sarah says, “It was really tight financially.”

At that same time, Sarah left her job after giving birth to their son. Living off what they had in savings, the Kims trusted God to provide.

Even during this time, they continued to look for ways to help those less fortunate.

Sarah says, "I have friends that are missionaries in other countries and I just feel that, if we can help them, even in our difficult too, why not?"

The Kims say God blessed Albert’s practice, because within just six months, it began to turn a profit.

“And that just kept growing.  So then I was able to buy more equipment," explains Albert.  "I was able to offer more services to my patients, I was able to hire more staff.  And it just kept growing.”

Today, Albert has over 1,000 patients.

“Oh, it's just God's blessing, one after the other," he says.  "There's no way this would have happened without God.”

The Kims haven’t stopped helping those less fortunate, which is why they partner with CBN.

“I love the updates on what Operation Blessing is doing," shares Sarah.  "I love the stories of the testimonies of healing and God's provision, of people coming to Christ.  I love everything about it.”

“Like if I give to CBN I know it's going to be used wisely.  And it's going to be used for good works,” Albert says.

Adds Sarah, “The little that we’re faithful in giving to Him, He blesses us back in abundance.”
