THE PURPOSE OF TESHTV

After John Tesh recovered from a Stage 3 cancer diagnosis, he wanted to help others going through difficult times so he and his family launched TeshTV which provides faith-based content, 24/7. John shares, "I know from experiencing a victory over cancer that there's power and healing in the Word of God. That's why I created TeshTV."

In 2015, John was told that he had 18-24 months to live and told to get his affairs in order. He and Connie were crushed. He had faith in the doctors and surgeons and the treatment plans they had put together. Yet, once he began to understand healing according to the scriptures and through the teaching of Andrew Wommack, he and Connie learned to pray differently.

Connie, Gib (John’s stepson), and John have a portion of the scripture tattooed on their bodies: "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

His cancer returned in October of 2020 and the scan showed tumors wrapped around his pelvis and strangling his right kidney. Again, he and Connie trusted God. Today, John is cancer-free.

HOW TO WATCH TESHTV

Subscribers can pick and choose content from John, Connie Sellecca, and Gib Gerard (Connie’s son and John’s stepson) featuring more than a thousand videos on several transformative topics by going to www.TeshTV.com. TeshTV offers instant streaming access on laptops, iPhones, Apple TV, Android, Roku, FireTV, and Samsung Smart TV. Access is free with an option to donate also available.

At first, they planned on scheduling self-help and motivation content for the first part of the day and faith-based content for the remainder. However, the desire for faith-based content was so overwhelming that they decided to give the audience what they want and focus on that full time.

UPCOMING CONCERTS

John has concerts on June 18th at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas and July 22nd and 23rd at Feinstein's at Vitello's in Studio City CA. More details can be found on www.TeshMusic.com.

ABOUT JOHN TESH

Growing up, John learned how to overcome challenges when suspended from college, kicked out of his family home, and living homeless in a North Carolina public park. John turned his life around, landed a job at the local radio station, and parlayed that into a meteoric, award-winning career in television journalism. He’s also turned an incredibly disappointing start in the music business into one of the most successful PBS television specials ever.

For the past forty-five years, John Tesh has been internationally recognized as a journalist, composer, broadcaster, and concert pianist. His Intelligence for Your Life radio show currently airs on 350 stations and reaches 14 million people each week.

John’s highly successful and varied career path also includes six years as a correspondent for CBS News, a ten-year run as an anchor on Entertainment Tonight, broadcast host and music composer for the Barcelona and Atlanta Olympic Games, induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame and the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, and the unique distinction of composing what critics have hailed as “the greatest sports theme in television history” for NBC Sports basketball, “Roundball Rock.”

John’s live television concerts, including the seminal “Live at Red Rocks,” have raised millions for Public Television. In 2020, Tesh published his memoir, Relentless: Unleashing a Life of Purpose, Grit, and Faith.
