LIVE RECORDING IN JERUSALEM
Roar from Zion is the latest album from worship leader Paul Wilbur. Produced live in Jerusalem during the 70th anniversary of Israel, this 14-track album features Paul, along with Joshua Aaron, Sarah Liberman, Shae Wilbur, Becka Shae, Ryan, and Marie Hodges, and a world-class band. In this album, Paul has partnered with young Christian, Arab, and Messianic Jews to produce a fresh new sound that is unique. Paul got the mandate from God one day when he was rushing around and felt like he needed to stop and spend time with Him. While reading the Bible he found himself in the book of Joel when a scripture grabbed him. says, “I will. Thunder from Jerusalem and I will roar from Zion.” Paul explains “I wondered what that sounds like when He roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem. As I sat there and was thinking, I felt like the Lord said, ‘This is what I want you to do. This is your next assignment. Put together your A-team and I will use your voice to thunder from Jerusalem and roar from Zion.’” Paul began making plans and Roar from Zion was birthed.

Paul, who has recorded albums in several languages, has been sharing a unique Kingdom message that reaches beyond cultural, social and political borders for more than 40 years. Whether he’s singing to packed soccer stadiums throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia, or bringing his anointed message directly to the people of Israel, his distinctive songs of prophetic praise and worship have reached multiplied millions. Paul has recorded landmark albums such as Shalom Jerusalem, The Watchman, and Jerusalem Arise! that have helped shape the worship of Messianic and Evangelical churches and congregations around the world.

In thousands of concerts, numerous recordings and over 3 million units in album sales, Wilbur speaks a language of melody and meaning that goes straight to the heart. His musical history goes back to the mid-seventies when he was a college student studying to be an opera singer and cantor before a born-again experience took him in a radical new direction.  From there, he went on to co-found Harvest, an early Jesus Movement band, and subsequently formed Israel’s Hope, dedicated to bringing the message of the gospel back to the heart of the chosen people. His cross-cultural, multi-lingual ministry would in time take him to every continent on the globe, playing before audiences ranging from South Africa to Singapore, Kuwait to Cuba.

BACKGROUND
Paul Wilbur started out singing and was considered one of the most successful worship leaders in the country when God began to challenge him. Paul explains, “The Lord began to speak to me ever so clearly. He asked, ‘Isn’t the life you have good?’ I replied, ‘Yes, yes, it is.’ ‘Are you comfortable and happy with how things are going?’ He continued. Again, I replied, “Yes, yes I am.’ He then responded, ‘If you would have asked me, I would have given you the nations.’ I pondered for a moment and said, ‘Lord, I would like the nations!’ And that was my great moment of visitation to bring the message of Messiah to the nations!’” After that, God began to open doors which also stretched Paul to become an author and speaker. He has been leading worship and ministering for over four decades in over seventy-five nations. Millions have purchased his albums and felt the presence of Yeshua over the years. He received a Dove Award for best live praise and worship album of the year. He also has over 620,000 followers on Facebook and has been on hundreds of television, radio, and print interviews. Paul is the co-host of Together for Israel on God TV.
