Prayer Heals Painful Diagnosis

“I've been doing handyman stuff for the last 5-6 years now," says Ken Young. “Fixing things that a lot of guys can't fix, I've been able to fix. I've had that ability ever since I was a kid. I’d take models out of the box without the instructions and put them together. I need to be physically fit because I'm up and down ladders all the time." 

"Recently I had quite a bout with gout.” Ken says, “I got out of bed stepped on the floor and my foot was all swollen and I couldn't walk on it. it's painful and when I get it, I can't move and I can't get around. It is like somebody stabbing me with all these needles. I needed to work that week, but I couldn't even get my boot on so I stayed home and prayed every day, ‘God I need to get back to work unless you want me here for a reason. I don't know why, but I need to get back to work.’ So the 4th of July I was invited to a bunch of barbecues and I had to turn them down because I couldn’t walk. So, I'm sitting there in the afternoon and I turned on The 700 Club and Gordon and Terry were getting ready to pray. I got in the mode of praying with them. Gordon had prayed and then Terry prayed and she said:

“Someone else with a recurring problem with gout. So painful you just - cannot move. God’s healing that for you. Not only healing what you’re experiencing right now but healing you of the condition that’s reoccurring.  You’ll not have it again.”

“I jumped up even though my foot hurt and I praised God and I yelled out to God and sat back down. Then they finished praying.” Ken says, “I went to bed early that night and it bothered me all night. When I woke up in the morning it was gone - literally gone. Nothing there! It was back to normal, no pain, no swelling, no nothing. Boy, I jumped around the house praising God all morning! I've never had anything heal like that before. I was able to go back to work the next week which I was happy about, and customers were happy too. I was able to get back to work and it's been good ever since. It was very miraculous. It was a miracle from God and I thank Him every day to this day for healing me. He's faithful, He does what He says He's going to do. As long as you have faith and believe in Him, He will always be there to take care of you.”
