Abigail Robertson serves as the congressional correspondent for the Christian Broadcasting Network. Since joining the CBN News Washington Bureau in 2015, she has had many notable assignments, such as covering the Pulse Night Club shooting in Orlando, Florida, the Paris terror attacks, and the refugee crisis overseas in the Middle East and Europe.

Abigail worked as the New Media Director for a victorious congressional campaign before she switched gears from working in politics to covering it. Over the past year, she has produced and reported from primary and presidential debates, the Republican National Convention, and President Donald Trump’s election night victory party and inauguration.

After moving into the role of congressional correspondent in January of 2017, Abigail now focuses on reporting on lawmakers and legislation on Capitol Hill. She also serves on the Radio & Television Correspondence Association Executive Committee.

Abigail is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she majored in English with a minor in media studies.

She has a passion for sharing people’s stories, and constantly looks to Proverbs 31:8-9, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.”  She began her reporting career at WUVA 92.7 KISS FM in Charlottesville, Virginia.
