In 2013, Regent University was inspired to introduce music onto its campus.  Regent University had already distinguished itself artistically with its Film, Television, and Theatre Schools, but they believed the time was right to add music.  So, they commissioned a vocal ensemble that could serve as a musical ambassador for the school.  It has taken some time to make that vision a reality, but four ago auditions were held, and The Regent University Singers were born.  This 10-member ensemble specializes in A cappella music and performs mostly original arrangements at high-profile events on behalf of the school.  Under their founding Director, Gary Spell, The Regent University Singers are distinguishing themselves among the nation’s elite vocal ensembles.
